Excerpted from the Argentina Guide
A decade of de-industrialization and general lack of interest in technical schools have created a severe lack of engineering and related technical workers within the Argentinean labor pool, causing a constraint to many growing industries. There are not enough available professionals in mechanical, electrical and information technology engineering to meet Argentinean companies' demand—a demand which vastly exceeds the pool of university graduates. Companies are having little success in finding candidates to fill their engineering vacancies for both engineers and technicians. The country is responding with scholarship programs and schools are expanding their technical offerings, but it will take several years for the industry to be in a position to support the vast need.
This is just a sample of what you'll find in the complete Argentina guide.
