Social Networking Groups
International Women's Club of Dublin
http://www.iwcdublin.ie
This is a social and philanthropic organization founded in 1972 with more than 180 members, all with links to North America. Its primary focus is to act as a bridge between its members and the Irish community. The philanthropic activities of the club assist in promoting American-Irish relations by providing a channel through which club members may contribute to the welfare of the Irish community. This ranges from local volunteer work to yearly fundraising that benefits the sponsored charity of the year.
Lions Clubs
http://www.lionsclubs.ie
Lions are men and women who volunteer their time to humanitarian causes in their local communities. They do so in the belief that those who live in a community are in the best position to know who needs help and why. These clubs are part of the world's largest service organization, with 1.4 million members in more than 180 countries and areas. The association is both non-political and non-sectarian. Through membership, Lions not only help people in need, but have opportunities to develop personal friendships and gain valuable leadership skills.
