   :: Work Permits/ Visa

Excerpted from the Canada Career Guide

Canada immigration control rules enable a wide variety of visitors to enter Canada for short visits, academic study or employment. The required documentation is quite detailed for extended stays in Canada for study or employment. However, the guidelines regarding the format of visa application packages are well documented and "user-friendly."

If you are an applicant for Temporary Resident Visas (TRV), Study Permits and Work Permits as of April 1, 2005, you must apply in your country of residence, your country of nationality or the country where you have been legally admitted.

This is just a sample of what you'll find in the complete Canada guide.
