Employment opportunities for skilled accounting and finance
professionals have grown along with China’s bustling economy. A
recent survey of accounting firms and associations in China showed
an increase in professional staff from 8,923 to 10,235. The recent
Hudson employer survey reported that half of companies in the
banking and professional services sector anticipate adding new staff
– up more than 35 percent over the past year. A growing number of
overseas banks are expanding their business in China creating
substantial demand for middle management and operational staff.
Hudson found that banks were the most bullish sector of all
companies surveyed in their expectations for future business growth
– with more than half predicting rapidly increasing growth rates.
