Gathering the information required in order to provide what the boss expects, or creating consensus among colleagues in order to accomplish a particular goal, can take a long time.

Spanish men may treat women with particular respect in business and in social situations; this is meant as an honor in most cases. It is not common for women, however, to be in positions of authority in Spain.
