   :: Resume/CVs

Excerpted from the Switzerland Career Guide

The common résumé/CV has a detailed chronological format. Because of the variety of languages and the international character of businesses in Switzerland, two forms of résumés/CVs are common: the local language (i.e., German, French or Italian) version and the English version. When applying to an international company, the English version should be sent unless otherwise specified. Younger professionals should send a shorter international résumé/CV, but more experienced professionals can send complete documentation with detailed attachments, such as diplomas, testimonials and other important items.

You'll find specific examples of cover letters and CVs relevant to Switzerland in the complete Switzerland guide.
